The Javaro Shuar were the first to practice headhunting and the skilled craft of head shrinking, believed to contain the spirit of their adversaries.
These heads are hand crafted in the same traditional head shrinking method and process handed down through generations by skilled direct relatives of the Shuar tribes in the deeply hidden forests of Ecuador.
Each hand crafted Tsansa is unique made from animal skins.
